About me
Marla Geha is Professor of Astronomy and Physics. Her research is focused on understanding how the smallest known galaxies formed, and using these galaxies to understand the nature of dark matter and the underlying cosmology of the Universe. She obtained her BS in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University and her PhD in Astrophysics from University of California Santa Cruz. She is on the executive board of the Warrior Scholar Project and runs the Research Experience for Veteran Undergraduates (REVU) summer research program. She was recently awarded the Dylan Hixon '88 Prize for teaching excellence in the natural sciences at Yale.
